HIDDEN UNIVERSE will carry plenty of stable confidence for the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival for the Dermot Weld camp. This very highly regarded 4yr old grey son of Linamix has been ultra impressive in his homework for connections since hacking up on his debut by 10 lengths at Leopardstown back in January.
Colm Murphy's team have reportedly prepared their 9yr old gelding BIG ZEB to cause an upset in the Queen Mother Champion Chase. A talented horse on his day he looks to be the value alternative to the hot favourite Master Minded. Our informants report Big Zeb to be spot on for the 2 mile big prize.

THE BETCHWORTH KID has reportedly been in sparkling form on Alan King's Barbury Castle gallops since his defeat at Taunton back in December in behind Tito Bustillo. Prior to that this highly rated 5yr old son of Tobougg showed a good turn of foot to win well on his debut at Plumpton. His long term target this season is The Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle at Cheltenham on Friday 19th March.
The Philip Hobbs team have a very talented 7yr old gelding by the name of TARABLAZE who is relatively lightly raced for his age. He has recorded 4 wins from 6 starts in his career including 3 successes over hurdles. His future will be over the larger obstacles commencing in Novice Chases.

GLENWOOD KNIGHT is a horse to follow this National Hunt season from our mole in the Donald McCain yard. This highly regarded 7yr old son of Presenting has a touch of class and has improved since his last outing at Exeter when disqualified. He is exepected to win over hurdles before being sent over the larger obstacles later on in the season.
Another son of Presenting doing well in his work is Howard Johnson's 6yr old gelding GLENCREE. This is a horse who will be sent chasing this season for the County Durham handler, he is a sound jumper of a fence and could be worth following on the Northern circuit.

SPORTS LINE a very highly regarded 6yr old gelding who jumped well when winning over fences for the first time at Navan last month is considered to be a horse to follow from the Willie Mullins stable. The son of Norwich is potentially top class and is on target for a Grade 1 Novice Chase at Leopardstown on Boxing Day.
Emma Lavelle's yard were reportedly pleased with the run of their 4yr old gelding TOCCA FERRO at Newbury last month when finishing 3rd to the classy Bellvano. This French bred grey is held in high regard and must be followed this National Hunt season over hurdles.

PEDDLERS CROSS a 4yr old gelding who is now trained by Donald McCain is the subject of very favourable reports from the yard. This highly regarded son of Oscar won a point to point in Ireland in good style on his only start which prompted McCain to pay £100,000 for him at the Cheltenham Sales. He is very talented and has settled in well at his new surroundings.
An unraced 5YO mare HIMAYNA from the Tim Vaughan stable has been reportedly working well at home in preperation for her debut which will be in a NH Flat race. This daughter of Generous who is very well related from a family of winners is held in very high regard by her connections.

WARM MEMORIES an unraced 2YO colt from the Sir Michael Stoute stable is reported to be exciting work watchers on the HQ Limekiln gallops. This very highly regarded son of Dansili who is a half brother to Doctor Fremantle should make a winning debut before the flat season comes to end next month.
Another unraced 2YO colt by Dansili this time from the Roger Charlton yard named BATED BREATH is reportedly an exceptionally smart type. He reportedly had a set back mid season yet is now sparkling in his work on the gallops for the Beckhampton team.

WEEPING WILLOW a well bred 2YO Filly from the John Gosden stable failed to show what she had been producing at home on the gallops on her debut at Windsor last month after being hampered coming out of the starting stalls and then running very green during the race. This daughter of Kheleyf has since been working extremely well and is definitely capable of winning a maiden before the end of this flat season.
The Barry Hills stable rate a 2YO colt by the name of ESAAR very highly despite not winning on his debut at Newbury last month. This long striding son of Mr Greeley ran a nice race to finish 3rd of 11 runners on his debut and will certainly know more next time out in a maiden later on this month.

The Willie Haggas camp have a very smart 2YO colt on their hands by the name TAAJUB who scored in a maiden at Newmarket last month. This son of Exceed And Excel is reportedly considered good enough to win again at the highest of levels. His main target this season is the Middle Park Stakes at Newmarket in October.
Our Private Service members were treated to a very impressive first time out winner by the name of SETA on the opening day of this month at Newmarket. The highly regarded daughter of Pivotal who is trained by Luca Cumani hacked up by 8 lengths landing a gamble. She is a class act and has her sights set on the Fillies Mile at Ascot next month.

Michael Stoute has a very talented 3YO colt named HARBINGER who is rated very highly by the yard. This son of Dansili was impressive when winning his maiden at Chester back in May and is now on target to run this month on the 28th at Goodwood in the Group 3 Gordon Stakes. He is a colt that is expected to mix it with top company by the end of this flat season.
The Richard Hannon stable have enjoyed much success with their 2YO's this season and one that as yet is still to make her debut is a filly named PLUME. This daughter of Pastoral Pursuits has been showing up really well in her homework on the Marlbourgh gallops. She could be sharp enough to win on her debut.

After hacking up on his debut at York the 2YO colt NO HUBRIS from the Paul Cole yard is on target to run in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot this month. This very highly regarded son of Proud Citizen is reportedly the best juvenille the Whatcombe camp have had in many a year. However, fast ground is essential.
The vibes from the Michael Bell yard are that their 3YO filly SARISKA is the best horse they have had in their care since the impressive Derby winner Motivator. Sariska would be a strong fancy to win the Oaks this month providing the rain stays away. She has plenty of class and will relish the step up to 1m4fs.

The Michael Jarvis team are reportedly very pleased with the way their 3YO colt ALMIQDAAD has been working on the Newmarket gallops recently. This strapping son of Haafhd will be on target for the Epsom Derby next month if he wins his intended trial beforehand.
Another inmate from the Jarvis camp is a 3YO filly by the name of HIDDEN BRIEF she was beat in to 2nd place in a decent maiden at Sandown last month although the ground was plenty quick enough for her. This daughter of Barathea must have cut in the ground to be at her absolute best. She is held in high regard by her connections and can win when she encounters her optimum conditions.

Whatcombe handler Paul Cole has a really nice 3YO named ABBEYSIDE who has reportedly been working really well on Cole's home gallops. This son of Danehill Dancer certainly has some useful 2YO form to his name in France and must be supported on his seasonal bow before he tackles Group 1 company in May.
Newmarket legend Henry Cecil is reportedly delighted with the progress that his 3YO colt FATHER TIME has shown from 2 to 3. This highly regarded son of Dansili could well progress into a black type performer this season after winning on the AW at Great Leighs on his only start to date last term.

Irish handler Dessie Hughes has a well handicapped 10yr old in the name of BLACK APALACHI who will go straight for the Grand National at Aintree next month. The son of Old Vic has outstanding claims of winning the big race on the back end of scoring last time out at Fairyhouse in really good style and winning by a distance at Aintree back in November in the Becher Chase. Any cut in the ground would play to his strengths.
The Flat season starts Saturday March 28th. The first big feature race of the season is the Lincoln Handicap, there are strong vibes from the Luca Cumani stable regarding his smart 6yr old Shinko Forest gelding SWOP who will strip fit for the race after scoring in good style last month at Nad Al Sheba.

The Alan King team were very disappionted that their very highly rated 4yr old LIDAR failed to land a gamble on his debut at Newbury last month. The French bred gelding was unsuited by the nature of the track and will be seen to better effect on a flat galloping track such as Doncaster. King has mapped out a race at the end of this month at Doncaster in a Class 2 Bumper which should suit him ideally.
Nick Gifford's yard have a very smart unraced 5yr old gelding by the name of ASHLEYS LAD. Held in high regard this son of Ashley Park has been exciting in his homework, he is considered to be well above average.

Barbury Castle Trainer Alan King has very high hopes for his 4yr old WALKON this French bred grey gelding is without doubt the pick of King's juveniles. He scored nicely last time out at Chepstow and is on song for the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham in March. He will have a run at Cheltenham before the festival to gain further experience.
Kim Bailey has a smart 5yr old recruit from the point to point scene by Kayf Tara named BALLYOLIVER. Held in high regard this gelding could well make it's debut over hurdles this month.
